In November environmental specialists form Impact7G began implementing a approved EPA Site Investigation Work Plan to determine the condition of soil and groundwater in the northern section of the former Midwest Carbine site in Keokuk. Soil and groundwater samples laboratory analysis results are expected toward the end of the month and a report will follow. The work is being implemented as part of the City of Keokuk's U.S. EPA Brownfield Assessment Cooperative Agreement.
